For more than two decades, I’ve had the privilege of caring for people as a Registered Nurse. Throughout those years, I witnessed something that stayed with me: healing isn’t only physical. Confidence, self-image, and feeling comfortable in your own skin can be just as important to a person’s well-being.

Like many nurses, I spent years working long hospital shifts. While I loved caring for my patients, I also wanted to create a life that allowed more balance for my family and an opportunity to build something deeply meaningful of my own.

When I first entered the world of permanent makeup, I expected to enjoy the artistry. But it didn’t take long to realize that my true calling wasn’t cosmetic beauty—it was restoration.

Helping someone soften the appearance of a scar, camouflage stretch marks, restore an areola after breast surgery, or support healthier skin through corrective treatments offered something far greater than aesthetic improvement. It helped people reconnect with their confidence.

That realization changed everything.

I shifted my entire focus toward paramedical tattooing and restorative skin aesthetics, combining my nursing experience with advanced corrective techniques and botanical principles inspired by Traditional Chinese Medicine. I never looked back.

Today, Skin Serenity is more than a studio—it’s a place where clinical knowledge, artistry, and compassionate care come together with one purpose: helping people feel whole, confident, and comfortable in their own skin again.
